As we begin our unit on the Civil War we must first look at the situation leading up to the Civil War. We will then look at some of the causes that led to the Civil War. We will look at the Civil War from both a military perspective and a political one. We will analyze the impact that the Civil War had on slavery in America. Finally, we will conclude by looking at how the Civil War radically changed the direction of development that America would go.
